Color (Colour) Matching
Students have to match the color circles into the empty spots on the color shamrocks. There is a file folder for the colors; black, blue, brown, green, pink, orange, purple, red, yellow and white.
Counting
Students count how many objects are in the box and then match the number to it. The number comes in 4 options; number name, tally mark, finger counting and number. There are 4 boxes in each file folder, each containing the same number of objects. Students move the number boxes to the counting objects boxes.
Missing Letters
Students place the missing letters into the empty gaps of the words to spell the St Patrick’s themed vocabulary. File folders come with their own letter.
Stacking Leprechaun Bakery Shelves
Students have to help the leprechaun stack the shelves in his bakery. Students are given an instruction ‘Put the cupcakes on the shelf’ – there is only one empty shelf, and students are only provided with the cupcakes to stack onto the shelf.
In order to make these activities errorless – you only provide your students with the correct answers with each of the activities. If you want to progress to a harder level for your students, include one wrong option to see if your students are able to differentiate from it.
