Letter Matching Uppercase and Lowercase, St Patrick’s Day

These hands-on task cards are a fun and engaging way for your students to work on their letter recognition skills and being able to match uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet. The task cards included are for all letters of the alphabet from A to Z and includes both upper- and lower-case letters.

Each task card contains a St Patrick’s themed yeti holding a sign with either an uppercase or lowercase letter on it. Students then have to match the two pieces together to match the uppercase and lowercase letters.

Your students will love working on their letter recognition skills with these hands-on and engaging task cards. I highly recommend laminating each of the individual task cards so that they will be stronger, longer lasting and reusable in the future.

Instructions

• Print the task cards.
• Cut out and laminate each of the individual task cards.
• Lay the task cards out in your literacy centers and watch your students work on their letter recognition skills, by matching the uppercase and lowercase letters together.
