Description
Make matching uppercase and lowercase letters fun with this activity. These task cards are a hands-on addition to your literacy lessons. They are in the theme of St Patrick’s Day. The task cards are for all letters of the alphabet from A to Z and includes both upper and lower case letters.
Each task card contains a St Patrick’s themed yeti holding a sign. The sign has either an uppercase or lowercase letter on it. Students then match the two pieces together, matching the uppercase and lowercase letters.
Your students will love working on letter recognition with these fun task cards. I recommend laminating each of the individual task cards. This ay they will be stronger, longer lasting and reusable in the future.
Instructions
- Print the task cards.
- Cut out and laminate each of the individual task cards.
- Lay the task cards out in your literacy centres. Then, watch your students work on their letter recognition skills.
