St. Patrick’s Day Math Ten Frame Task Cards

These math task cards are a fun and engaging addition to your St Patrick’s Day activities. Your students will love working on their counting and ten frame skills with these St Patrick’s Day task card activities. The task cards included in this pack contain ten frames from 0-10. Students have to count how many shamrocks are in the ten frame and then select the correct answer out of 3 choices on the bottom of the task card.

This is a great way for your students to not only work on their counting skills, but also their number recognition skills. Many of our students can count, but they can’t match this to a visual number. If you want to add some fine motor work into the activity, you can give your students clothing pegs to use to choose their answers.

The task cards come in color/colour and black and white option for your printing preference.

Instructions

• Print out each of the task cards.
• Cut out and laminate each of the individual task cards.
• Provide your students with a dry wipe pen or clothing peg for students to select their answer.
