In this blog post today I’m sharing some of my favorite 100th day of school activities for special education. I always try to make sure that my students are included in all school celebrations and events. And that often means differentiating activities and making them accessible for my students.
In this blog post I’ve put together my favorite activities to use with my students to celebrate the 100th day that are accessible and engaging.
1. 100th Day of School Movement Breaks
We LOVE to incorporate physical activities into our classroom. And these movement breaks are perfect for using throughout the day.. Plus they’re free for you to download! Click here to download them.
2. 100th Day Crown & Glasses Crafts
These crown and glasses crafts are fun to make with students – and they’re free for you to download too! My students love making crafts and these are perfect for them to make and wear to celebrate the day. Download them free here.
3. 100th Day Adapted Book
This adapted book is fun for students to not only work on their book, reading and vocabulary skills.. But there’s also the opportunity for your students to move their bodies with it too. My students love this one and we usually end up using it throughout the year too. Download it here.
4. My Book of 100
This booklet is a fun way to reinforce working on the number 100 with your students. We typically complete this book throughout the whole week, completing a few pages at a time. I also split the booklet up and send some of the worksheets home with students too.
5. 100th Day Writing Prompts
These writing prompts are perfect for your higher ability students who love to get creative, write and draw. They work perfect as part of literacy centers and quick, last minute worksheets to print out. Download them here.
6. 100th Day Color by Number
If you have students who are working on number recognition and fine motor skills.. These color by number worksheets are perfect to use as part of your 100th day activities. You can download them here.
7. 100th Day of School Work Book
This work book is perfect for higher level students. It comes with a huge range of different activities for your students to complete.. And at the end of it they have their very own 100th day work book. Click here to download it.
