Acorn Sensory Bin for Kids

This acorn sensory bin is the perfect autumn/fall activity to set up for your students / children at home. We loved setting this one up and it’s honestly been a huge hit.. Especially the squirrel tweezers – my students LOVE anything like that!

In this blog post I’m going to share how you can create this sensory bin with your students.. Or even at home with your children! It’s quick, easy and the perfect fall activity.

Materials Used

• Sensory Tray. USA Shopping Link. UK Shopping Link.
• Squirrel Game. USA Shopping Link. UK Shopping Link.
• Popcorn Kernels. USA Shopping Link. UK Shopping Link.

Instructions

• Pour the popcorn kernels into a sensory bin.
• Scatter the acorns around the bin.
• Place the log pieces around the sensory bin – or inside.
• Students use the squirrel tweezers to pick up the acorns and match them onto the log pieces.
