I am always on the look out for fun and engaging math activities to use with my students. And alien counting activities always go down well. So today, I wanted to share with you all my alien counting task card activity.
When I saw these little sensory alien men, I just knew my students were going to love them. So I had to get an activity put together to make the sensory alien educational.
One of my biggest secrets for finding fun and affordable sensory items is to check out the party bag section of stores. You can find some great items here. And they’re often in multi-packs and very affordable. These ones even glow in the dark!
These task cards are a fun way for my students to work on their instructional skills. But it also gets them working on their counting skills. If you don’t have sensory aliens – that’s ok too! I’ve included some printable aliens for you to give your students to count with.
