Apple Rice Krispie Cake Recipe

This apple rice krispie cake recipe is perfect to do in the classroom with your students. We love doing an apple theme in September.. And these rice krispie cakes are quick and easy for us to make.. Materials / Ingredients Needed

• Mixing bowl.
• White chocolate.
• Marshmallows.
• Rice Krispies.
• Red food dye.
• Wooden spoon.
• Microwave.
• Green M&Ms.
• Spoon.
• Ice-cream scoop.

Instructions

1. Place white chocolate and marshmallows into a mixing bowl then place into the microwave to melt.
2. Pour in some red food dye and mix to get a good red.
3. Next, pour in some rice krispies and mix it altogether.
4. Use an ice-cream scoop to scoop out the rice krispie mixture into a round ball. Place onto a chopping board/tray.
5. Place a green M&M on top of the rice krispie cake.
6. Put them into the fridge to harden once complete.
