This feelings and emotions sensory bin has been a huge hit for us! We love watching the Inside Out films to get a deeper and more visual experience and understanding of our feelings and emotions. I then extended this activity so that we could continue with our learning afterwards.
Check out the photos and information below in this post, including where to get all the parts.. And let me know if you try out this feelings and emotions sensory bin with your students too.

What I Used
- Red, yellow, green and blue rice. Follow these instructions to dye your own rice.
- Sensory table. Find my sensory table set-up here.

- Printables/posters made by myself.
While doing this sensory bin we talk about the different feelings and the zones. We read through and hunt out different feelings to match them to their names. This is a lovely, calming activity and one I really recommend as part of your calm down areas and/or regulation activities.
