Fizzing Witch’s Cauldron Science Experiment

This fizzing witch’s cauldron science experiment is the perfect addition to your Halloween activities. We love doing science experiments, and this big cauldron has been perfect for brewing all sorts of witch’s potions! In this blog post today I’m sharing instructions for how you can do this science experiment with your students too.

What You Need

Instructions

  • Place your Halloween items into the cauldron.
  • Fill half of the cauldron with distilled vinegar.
  • Add in drops of different color food colorings.
  • Provide students with scoops/spoons so that they can scoop bicarb into the cauldron.
  • Watch as the bicarb fizzes in the cauldron.
