Frankenstein Science Experiment for Kids

This erupting Frankenstein science experiment for kids is a huge hit this Halloween! We had so much fun with this science activity and it’s a great way for working on cause and effect skills. The little Frankenstein heads made for the activity to have a fun Halloween theme.. And a perfect way to mix up our science centers!

In this blog post below I’ll be sharing all the materials you need and the instructions for how you can re-create this erupting Frankenstein experiment with your students (or kids at home!) too.

Materials Needed

Instructions

  • Place the Frankenstein pots into your sensory bin.
  • Add some bicarbonate of soda into each of the pots.
  • Pour some green food dye on top of the bicarbonate in each of the pots.
  • Place distilled vinegar into a pot (or a separate Frankenstein pot).
  • Students can use scoops / droppers to move the vinegar on top of the bicarbonate in each pot to make it erupt.
