Instructions
- Print and cut out all of the 101 bones on pages 3-13. Laminate them to keep them for next year!
- Each bone has a number 1-101 on. If you want to expand the challenge, you can write a small challenge on the back of each bone for student stop solve before adding them to the treat jar.
- Hide the bones around the classroom or designated area. Get creative with your hiding spots—under chairs, inside books, or taped to the wall.
- Read Dotty’s letter to the students (page 2) and explain the mission.
- As students find the bones, they can bring them to Dotty’s treat jar (a decorated container labeled “Dotty’s Treat Jar”- printable label on page 3).
- Once all bones are collected, count them together as a class to ensure Dotty has all 101 bones. You can also put them in order.
