This free disguise a turkey project is the perfect download for you to use this November! I wanted to put together a quick no-prep project that you can either use in the classroom or at home. Disguise a Turkey Project
This free download (click here) contains an instruction page and a worksheet for students to use. Students need to come up with creative ideas for costumes to draw/create on their worksheet. This is to help disguise the turkey.
Disguise Ideas
If you have students who are feeling stuck and not sure where to start with what design to do for their turkey, here are some tips;
- Pre-make your own disguise a turkey and have it up on the board on display.
- Provide students with a blank piece of paper to brainstorm how they will disguise the turkey.
- Do a class brainstorm session before you start where everyone contributes different disguise ideas on a big board and students can choose ideas from here.
- Place different picture books on students tables so they can use them as inspiration.
