I’m so excited to share this free gingerbread house name craft. The gingerbread man is one of my favorite themes to do in the classroom with my students. It’s a great theme for using multi-sensory learning.. And also for crafts too!
In this blog post I share with you instructions on how to make this gingerbread house name craft along with the free download and materials you’ll need.
I’ve also included links to some other gingerbread themed activities that I think you will love too!
Materials Needed
- Printer.
- Paper.
- Scissors.
- Glue.
- Pen.
- Pens/pencils/crayons.
- This template.
Instructions
- Download your free template here.
- Open the PDF in Adobe PDF Reader – this step is very important or the craft will not edit properly.
- On page 2 of this PDF file you will find a finished example of what this gingerbread house craft looks like when completed.
- On pages 3-4 are black and white templates for this craft.
- Page 5 contains gumdrops. These are editable and come with a tracing font. Click the gumdrop to type in a letter. Ensure you use one gumdrop for each letter of the name needed.

[…] I LOVE this craft! It’s a free download and is editable for you to add your student’s names. Students have to put together all of the pieces to create their gingerbread house and then I put out buttons, glitter, sequins etc for some extra decorations. Download it here. […]
