Free Penguin Name Craft
I’m so excited to share this free penguin name craft with you! I love doing a penguin theme in our classroom during winter.. And what could be cuter than a little penguin craft to go along with it!?
Materials Needed
- Paper
- Printer
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pen
- Crayons/felts/pencils.
Instructions
- Download the craft template here.
- Open the file in Adobe PDF Reader. This step is very important because otherwise, the editable formatting will not be correct.
- On page 2 of the PDF file you will find a finished example of what this penguin craft looks like when completed.
- On pages 3-4 are black and white templates for this craft. Page 4 contains 2 x penguin bodies so will be enough for 2 crafts. Page 3 contains 1 x each piece so will be enough for 1 craft.
- Page 5 contains snowballs. These are editable and come with a tracing font. Click the snowball to type in a letter. Ensure you use one snowball for each letter of the name needed.
- Page 6 contains a color copy of the background that I use. You can either print this or you can have students create their own background; using watercolor paints, crayons etc. or even just blue paper/card.
- Page 7 contains a color copy of the penguin if you have students who don’t want to decorate/color in their penguin.
- Page 8 contains the accompanying white ice patch. There are 2 on this page so enough for 2 crafts.
