Bell Pepper Ghosts
For this craft, I provide students with black paper or card. I slice a bell pepper in half and provide different color paints. Students dip the bell pepper into the paint and then onto the card to make it look like a ghost. Some googly eyes make the ghosts look finished!
Cotton Wool Ghosts
These cotton wool ghosts had a fun sensory 3D effect to them and were real easy to make. I first cut out ghost shapes from white card. Then, I cut out eye and mouth shapes for students to stick onto the ghost shape. Finally, I had students glue white cotton wool balls onto the ghost to make it more 3D.
Skeleton Paper Plates
These paper plates turned out so good! We printed out some examples of different funky skeleton faces for students to use as references. We cut sides of the paper plates out to give it more of a skull look. Then students used black cut outs of eyes and nose as well as glitter and pens to decorate their skeleton paper plates.
Frankenstein Square Paper Plate Craft
I found square paper plates when I was out shopping last month and knew that they would be perfect for making Frankenstein! We turned the paper plates upside down to give a more raised effect. Then we painted it green and left to dry. We cut the bolts out of black card and glued them to the sides. Then we cut out hair from black card working on our spiky cutting skills. Finally we added googly eyes and drew on a mouth.
Cheesy Ghosts
These cheesy ghosts worked as a great snack for us. We picked up cheese strings and then cut them into smaller pieces. We carefully peeled the bottom of each cheese string to flick out like a ghost. Finally, we used a black icing pen to draw onto the cheesestring.
Banana Ghosts
These ghost bananas were a fun and hands-on way for my students to explore different fruits. We sliced a banana up into smaller chunks, then we used black icing to draw ghost faces onto the banana pieces.
Finally, as part of our introduction to more fruits and healthy snack options we put together this Frankenstein grape cup. We placed green grapes and two banana slices into a plastic cup. We then drew eyes and a mouth on the outside of the cup to look like Frankenstein.
