Instructions
(Scroll down for photo instructions)
- Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C.
- Place the silicone mould onto a baking tray. I also line with my baking paper just incase of overspill.
- Soak your crayons in a bowl of warm water. This will make the paper easier to pull off – but it’s optional.
- Remove the paper layer from around the crayon.
- Snap the crayon up into small pieces.
- Place the pieces of crayon into the silicone mould.
- Crayons melt down really small so if you want them to be the size of the mould, make sure you really overfill the slot.
- Place into the oven for 15 minutes. Sometimes they can melt quicker. Just check in the oven and see how they are doing. If you still see lumps in them then they need longer.. If all the crayon pieces have melted, then they’re ready!
- Place into the freezer for 10-15 minutes or until solid.
- Pull out the crayon pieces from the moulds gently.
