Word to picture matching activities are great to use with students for a variety of reasons;

- It helps us – as professionals – see if our non-verbal or students with limited speech are able to understand words. You will be able to see if your students can link texts to images.
Many students may learn to read words but not understand the meaning behind them. This activity will help to work with students on working towards achieving this skill.

Instructions
- Print out the included activities.
- Laminate the image pages.
- Cut out and laminate the individual boxes on the text pages.
- Students match the text boxes to the image boxes.
