Animal Category Sorting Cards

Description

These sorting cards are a great way for your students to work on their categorising and sorting skills. These sorting cards are in the theme of different animals.

The categories included are:
♦ Farm Animals
♦ Zoo Animals
♦ Ocean Animals
♦ Desert Animals
♦ Pets
♦ Wetland Animals

These cards will have your students thinking about which category that each animal belongs to and have them thinking about different animals and their habitats.

There are 6 animal items to match for each card. I recommend laminating each of the individual parts so that they will be stronger, longer lasting and re-usable.

This resource is a great way for students to work on their sorting and categorising / categorizing skills. They are used with an Autism Classroom on a regular basis which have really helped to develop the children’s understanding. As well as suiting an Autism Classroom, this resource would also benefit Spec Ed Classrooms and even Mainstream Classrooms.
