Animal Habitats Adapted Books Errorless Learning

Are you looking for engaging activities for your animal habitats topic? Do your students love to work on adapted books? Are you looking for errorless learning activities to improve confidence and independence? If so, your students will love these animal habitats adapted books.

The animal habitat adapted books included are;

• Arctic Animals
• Desert Animals
• Ocean Animals
• Rainforest Animals
• Wetland Animals

Instructions

• Print out all of the pages.
• Cut out and laminate each of the pages and bind into adapted books.
• Cut out and laminate each of the individual symbols and place velcro onto the back of them.
• Laminate the final page – the base board – and add velcro onto these.
• Place the individual symbols onto the base board. Students choose the symbols from the base board to place onto the adapted book as they complete it.

Adapted books are a great way to encourage students to pay close attention to detail and start to link vocabulary to the images that they see.

Each adapted book comes with symbols as well as a ‘base page.’

The base page is where the symbols can be stored when not in use and for students to select the symbols from to use within the adapted books.
