Code Word Cracker
Autism Awareness Month is a great time for you to spread Autism Awareness with your students. This free download is great to use with your students to help them understand more about autism in a fun and engaging way.
This download includes 1 no prep, code word cracker worksheet and 1 answer key. Students simple use the coded alphabet at the top of the page to try and crack the words below. Each of the words links to Autism allowing you the chance to discuss more about Autism and spread Autism Awareness.
Jigsaws
These jigsaw puzzles are a fun way for you to introduce and promote Autism Awareness with your students. This resource contains 4 different levels of jigsaw puzzles, allowing you to differentiate with your individual students. All images included in the puzzles are linked to the theme of Autism Awareness.
The jigsaws come in the following levels:
♦ 2 piece jigsaw
♦ 3 piece jigsaw
♦ 12 piece jigsaw
♦ 20 piece jigsaw
Each level comes with 7 different jigsaw puzzles. Each puzzle includes an image of the community helper and their job title below.
Just cut out each of the individual jigsaw pieces, laminate and you have a re-usable jigsaw puzzle to pull out at any time you need. Or cut out the individual pieces and have students stick them into their work books to build the image.
Each jigsaw comes in col and b/w option for your preference.
Word Search Pack
This Autism Awareness themed word search pack contains 2 different levels of word search worksheets, blank word search worksheets for students to make their own Autism Awareness word searches and also 2 vocabulary posters that include all the vocabulary used through all the word searches.
This resource includes;
♦ Level 1 word search worksheets x 9 (8 words)
♦ Level 2 word search worksheets x 5 (16 words)
♦ Level 1 and Level 2 blank word search worksheets for students to make their own Autism Awareness theme word searches

These worksheets come in b/w for ink friendly printing and are appropriate for all spelling types – UK/US etc. The worksheets require no prep, simply print and hand out. These are great time fillers, literacy centres, or even to be left on sub days. They provide a different way for students to pay close attention to detail and encourages the recognition of letters and vocabulary.
Col. by Number
Autism Awareness Month is a great time for you to spread Autism Awareness with your students. These colour by number / color by number worksheets are a great way to have your students continuing to work on their math skills while also introducing Autism Awareness into your classroom.
There are 6 different worksheets included in this pack, and all images are linked to the theme of Autism Awareness.
The worksheets come in both spelling options for US and UK/CAN i.e colour and color.
Simply print out the worksheets and have them on hand to give to your students. They look at the code at the bottom of the worksheet to find out what colors/colours to use on parts of the image.

This Autism Awareness powerpoint will be a great addition to your learning environment whether you are taking part in Autism Awareness Day/Week or Month.
