Christmas Fact or Opinion Task Cards

These Christmas themed fact or opinion task cards are a great way to get your students thinking and working on fact/opinion statements while continuing the theme of Christmas.

Sorting facts from opinions can be a hard skill for many of our students to grasp, so by making it fun with this activity is a great way for us to encourage our students to work on these skills. Many students may think that everything that is said to them is a fact rather than an opinion. This activity will provide you with the chance to teach your students the difference between the two and how to recognise facts and opinions.

Students have to read the sentence on the top of the task card and then decide if it is fact or opinion by choosing the option out of 2 choices on the bottom of the task card. These task cards will also provide your students with the opportunity to find out more about Christmas through different facts.

There are 40 different task cards included.

The cards come in both col and b/w option for your printing preference.
