This simplified story is a great way to introduce the story of the Nativity to your students in a more suitable way for them to understand and remain engaged with. It helps you to introduce the story of Christmas into your learning environment and to touch on the story of baby Jesus.

The story of the Nativity is a wonderful read but can be too much for many of our students – which is what many of my personal students used to find – there was too much information to process at once, too many words, too long a story etc. So, I sat down, condensed the story into a more simplified version that included the key parts of the story but also was of a more suitable level for my students. I have included eye-catching graphics so that students can have a visual reference for each page as well as enhancing the story to be more engaging.

This resource comes in b/w and col option for your printing preference.

You can either use these as a sequencing activity for students to stick into their books each day or to laminate and make as small books for each child to read or to have yourself and laminate to read to the class altogether.
