Counting Daffodils, St David’s Day Activity
£2.00
Your students will love working on their counting skills with this counting daffodils activity. Students need to count out the daffodils to match the number and put them on to the grass. This is a great way for students to work on their counting and number recognition skills. This is a fun and hands-on activity to add to your St David’s Day celebrations.
Â
Included in this resource are daffodils for you to print and use. However, you can also use the heads of real daffodils, this will make it more hands-on for your students.Â
Â
Two boards are included (daffodil and daffodil’s). Numbers go from 0-10. On the top of the board there is a blank box. This is where you change out the numbers (included) for students to follow. The instructions come with visual, symbol prompts to support your learners.
Â
For example; “Put 5/five daffodils in the grass” – and then the student has to put 5 daffodils onto the grass.
Â
This activity is also a great way for students to work on their fine motor skills, picking up daffodils.
Â
I recommend laminating all of the pieces included. This will make them stronger, longer lasting and reusable in the future.
Â
