Counting Money Activity Task Box

Do your students need to work on their counting money skills? Are you looking for a hands-on counting money activity to add to your maths resources? If so, this task box is the perfect addition to your classroom.

Instructions

• Print out the task cards. There are a range of levels included, so you can print all task cards, or just the levels you want to work on.
• Cut out and laminate each of the task cards. This makes them stronger and longer-lasting for future use.
• Give your students a clothing peg or dry-wipe pen to choose their answer out of 2 options on the bottom of the task card.

How to Use

• Each task card contains a purse with coins inside it.
• Students need to count how many coins are in the purse.
• Your students will then use their clothing peg or dry-wipe pen to choose the price tag out of 2 options on the bottom of the task card.

The money included on these task cards are UK coins.
