Description
This activity is a great way to get your students working on their counting skills by using shells. Students have to read the instruction on top of the page and place the amount of shells into the bucket. My students love completing activities like this, and the more we work on them, the more they are able to start completing these activities independently.
The pages come in numbers 0-10 and you can either use actual shells or there are printable ones included in the resource. This comes in colour/color option only – there is no b/w option included.
This math activity will be a great addition to your summer or beach themed topic and is interactive to keep your students engaged and enjoying the activity. To tie in with your beach unit, you could start by visiting a local beach, collecting shells and then fetching them back to your classroom to use in activities like this one. That way, your students will have been able to continue their learning past their trip.
