Description
Are you looking for a counting to 10 activity that’s hands-on and engaging this winter? Your students will love using pom poms to count snow onto the task cards.
Students need to follow the instructions on each task card. Then, count out the white pom poms to put onto the task cards as snowballs.
Your students will be working on;
- Counting
- Number recognition
- Instructional skills
- Fine motor skills
Instructions
- Print out the included task cards.
- Cut out and laminate the task cards. This will make them stronger, longer lasting and reusable for future use.
- Provide your students with pompoms, buttons or other manipulatives. Students place the amount of pompoms onto the snowy scene that the instruction tells them. You can also provide your students with jumbo tweezers to pick up the pom poms to target their fine motor skills even more.
These task cards fit perfectly into photo storage boxes – making it easy for you to stay organised and keep all the pieces together.
