This CVC words spelling activity is perfect for working on CVC words and spelling skills. Students will love building up the ice cream cones and working on their spelling skills.
 
There are 2 levels of activity included in this resource.

The 2 levels included are;

  • Ice cream cones with a CVC image and a word prompt underneath.
  • Ice cream cones with just a CVC image – no word prompt.

Instructions

  • Print out the resource.
  • Cut out and laminate the task cards and individual ice cream scoops.
  • Students look at the CVC word and/or image on the ice cream cone. Then, use the ice cream scoops to spell out the CVC words.
These are a great addition to your literacy activities and for working on CVC words.
