These number puzzles are a great addition to your Enormous Turnip math activities. Students will get to work on their number recognition, counting and fine motor skills. Students need to put the pieces of the number puzzles in numerical order to make a picture.

The puzzles come in 8 different difficulty levels;

1 – Numbers 0-3
2 – Numbers 0-4
3 – Numbers 0-5
4 – Numbers 0-6
5 – Numbers 0-7
6 – Numbers 0-8
7 – Numbers 0-9
8 – Numbers 0-10

There are a range of ways that these can be used in your classroom such as;

• Print out the puzzles, cut them up and laminate them. Use them as a math activity where your students have to look at the numbers on the bottom of each puzzle piece and put them together to make a puzzle.

• Print out two copies of each puzzle (one copy can be b/w). Laminate one copy as a full puzzle and then cut out the puzzle pieces on the other puzzle to use as a prompt to put the individual pieces together. Laminate the puzzle pieces. Have your students match the individual pieces onto the completed puzzle. This provides a lower ability option for students struggling.

Instructions are also included on first pages of each PDF document. I recommend laminating each of the individual task cards. This will make them stronger and longer lasting.
