Your students will love working on these errorless learning file folder activities. All of the activities are based on the farm. These file folder activities are the perfect addition to your farm and errorless learning activities.
Errorless learning activities are a fantastic way to get your students into the routine of working. And it eliminates any fear of failure. Errorless learning activities are just that – they are fantastic for boosting confidence and success in your students.
There are 11 different file folders activities included in this pack. Each one contains an errorless farm theme activity.
The activities included are;
- Matching 2D shape pigs to 2D shapes.
- Putting animals onto the farm.
- Collecting carrots from the soil and putting them into the basket.
- Collecting eggs from the hens and putting them into the basket.
- Matching color animals to color splats. Comes with both spelling options color/colour, gray/grey.
- Matching numbers (in different variations) to the amount of animals.
- Matching names to animals – photographs.
- Putting farmers in front of the barn.
- Feeding the sheep.
- Putting the pigs into the mud.
- Putting tractors onto the transport page.
Matching 2D shape pigs to 2D shapes.
The shapes included are; circle. diamond, heart, hexagon, octagon, oval, pentagon, rectangle, square, star and triangle. There are 3 pigs for each shape. Students move the pigs from the left side of the file folder onto the shape page on the right side of the file folder. You only use the correct pig shapes for that shape page – errorless learning. If you want to progress to a harder level for your students, include one wrong shape to start to see if they are able to differentiate from it.
Putting animals onto the farm.
Students move the animals from the left side of the file folder onto the farm page on the right side of the file folder. The animals included are; goat, cow, cat, chicken, goose, horse, sheep, pig and rooster. If you want to progress to a harder level for your students, include one wrong image/object that you have to see if your students are able to differentiate from it.
Collecting carrots from the soil and putting them into the basket.
Students have to ‘pull’ the carrots out of the soil on the left side of the file folder. Then, they put them into the basket on the right side of the file folder.
Collecting eggs from the hens and putting them into the basket.
Students have to ‘collect’ the eggs from the hens on the left side of the file folder. Then, they put them into the basket on the right side of the file folder.
Matching color animals to color splats. Comes with both spelling options color/colour, gray/grey.
The colors included are; black, blue, brown, green, gray/grey, orange, pink, purple, red, white and yellow. Each color comes with 6 farm animals in that matching color; cat, cow, horse, sheep, dog and pig. You only use the correct color animals in each of the file folders to make it errorless learning. Students move the color animals from the left side of the file folder onto the color page on the right side of the file folder. If you want to progress to a harder level for your students, include one wrong image/color that you have to see if your students are able to differentiate from it.
Matching numbers (in different variations) to the amount of animals.
The numbers included are from 1-10. Each file folder has its own number. There are 4 counting images in boxes included for each number. Students then match the number variations to the images. Only use the correct number variations to make its errorless learning. The number variations are; number, number name, number shown on counting fingers, tally mark for the number. If you want to progress to a harder level for your students, include one wrong number variation or a different object to see if your students are able to differentiate from it.
Matching names to animals – photographs.
The animals included are; cow, pig, sheep, chicken, horse and goat. All images are photographs of the animals to give him a more real life connection. Students match the animal names to the photographs. Each file folder contains 4 different images of 1 animal. Only use the correct names in the file folders to create errorless learning. If you want to progress to a harder level for your students, include one wrong option to see if your students are able to differentiate from it.
Putting farmers in front of the barn.
Students need to move the farmers from the left side of the file folder in front of the barns on the right side of the file folder. 4 farmers included. Only use correct images of the farmers to create errorless learning. If you want to progress to a harder level for your students, include one wrong option to see if your students are able to differentiate from it.
Feeding the sheep.
Students need to feed the sheep apples. They move the apples from the left side of the file folder into the sheep’s mouth on the right side of the file folder. If you want to progress to a harder level for your students, include one wrong option to see if your students are able to differentiate from it.
Putting the pigs into the mud.
Students need to move the pigs from the left side of the file folder into the mud on the right side of the file folder. If you want to progress to a harder level for your students, include one wrong option to see if your students are able to differentiate from it.
Putting tractors onto the transport page.
Students need to move the different images of the tractor from the left side of the file folder onto the right side of the file folder onto the ‘tractor’ page. If you want to progress to a harder level for your students, include one wrong option to see if your students are able to differentiate from it.
