February Activities Sequencing Stories with Pictures

The stories are;

★ Today we are making Valentine cards. First, we have to cut out the hearts. Then, we have to fold the card in half. Next, we glue the hearts onto the front of the card, and finally we have finished our Valentine’s Day card!

 

★ Today is Valentine’s Day, grandma is telling me a story about her and my grandad when they were young. First, she told me how they would go dancing and then out to a restaurant for food. Then, they would spend ages talking about everything, before exchanging presents.

 

★ I wake up and find that my little sister has made me a Valentine’s Day card! Then, my mother comes in with a new dress to wear today. I go downstairs and my father is making us special cupcakes for breakfast! Finally, at the end of the day, I go and pick a pink flower from the garden to give to my sister.

 

★ Today we are going to bake some biscuits. First, I put on my apron and hat. Next, I roll out the cookie dough so that it’s flat. Then, I use a cookie cutter to cut out some heart shapes from the dough. Then, we bake them before decorating them with pink and red icing.

 

★ Today, my father is teaching me how to cross the road safely. First, I must stand and wait by the stop sign. Next, I look left and then right to see if there are any cars coming. Then, I should listen if I can hear any cars coming. Finally, once I know there are no cars coming, I can cross the road.

 

★ The weather has got very cold, so I must make sure to wear the right clothes. First, I put on my thick socks. Then, I put on my fluffy sweater and trousers. Next, I put on my winter boots. Finally, I put on my coat, hat gloves and scarf. Now I am ready to go out in the cold.

 

★ Today, we are learning about Chinese New Year. Our teacher brought us fortune cookies to taste, they were really yummy. Then, we watched the Chinese dragon dance on the internet. Next, we made Chinese lanterns with different designs. Finally our teacher gave us special fans to keep ourselves cool.
