Description
Are you looking for a hands-on and engaging five senses activity for your students? Do you want your students to understand what each of the five senses do? Are you looking for activities to encourage independent work? If so, you’ll love these five senses task cards.
Students need to look at the image on the task card and answer the question with what that sense can do. You can provide your students with a clothing peg or dry-wipe pen for them to choose their answers on the task cards.
Instructions
- Print the task cards.
- Cut out and laminate each of the individual task cards.
- Provide students with a clothing peg or dry-wipe pen for them to select their answers.
How to Use
- Each task card contains a sense; smell, taste, touch, hear and see.
- The task cards also contain a question i.e ‘What can you taste?’
- At the bottom of each task card are 2 answer options. Each one contains a symbol support image and text. I.e ‘ Bell’ or ‘Apple’ – and students select which one they can taste – apple.
These task cards fit perfectly into photo storage boxes – making it easy for you to stay organised and keep all the pieces together. They also come with a cover for you to use to organise.
