Description
This fun and interactive roll a snowman game will be a great addition to your Winter unit. Learners have to roll their dice, read and recognise the symbols on the dice. Then, they find the matching pieces to dress their snowman.
This roll a snowman activity can be used in a variety of ways in your learning environment;
• 1:1 work activity. Where your student can work on their symbol recognition and fine motor skills
• Paired activity. Where 2 students – or a student and member of staff – to play against each other. This is a great way for students to work on their turn taking skills. Many of our learners also struggle with ‘not winning’ so this is a great activity to work on that – if you wish.
• Small group games. Where your students can work against each other, who can dress their snowman the fastest?
I recommend laminating each of the individual pieces included in this activity. That way they will be stronger, longer lasting and reusable in the future.
This activity comes with a dice for you to put together – this is the dice for your students to roll. They then use the included items of clothing/body parts to dress their snowman.
