Description
This sentence matching adapted book is perfect to use through spring with your students. It is the perfect addition to your autism or special education classroom to work on sentence recognition and matching skills. This adapted book is based on the season of spring.
On each page, students need to look at the image that is shown, and then using their provided sentences – match the sentence to the image. If you have higher ability students who are working on writing sentences, just provide them with a dry wipe pen and they can write their own sentences for each of the pages.
There are 9 different activities included in this adapted book for students to work on their sentence skills.
The sentences come in 2 different levels;
- With visual symbol support
- Without visual symbol support
However, as mentioned above you can also use this at an even higher level by having your students write their own sentences on each of the pages.
The sentences included are;
- The grass is green.
- I see a butterfly.
- She is climbing a tree.
- It is raining.
- The egg is in the basket.
- She is jumping in puddles.
- The rabbit is eating a carrot.
- The boy is flying a kite.
- The girl is blowing bubbles.
