Description
This Snowman addition and subtraction activity is perfect for your Winter or Snowman unit. Each snowman contains 3 body pieces. Students need to work out the sums, and then match the pieces to the correct snowman head.
This is a fun and engaging way for your students to work on their addition and subtraction skills in a hands on way. I recommend cutting out and laminating each of the individual pieces. This way they will be stronger, longer lasting and reusable in future.
The sums included go from 0-20 for your students to work on.
You can have the snowman’s head and body pieces laid out on a table for students to work through. Or, you can hide them for students to find. Some examples of where you can hide the pieces are;

♦ Outdoor play area
♦ In a tough tray
♦ In a sensory tub
etc.
