Description
This spring initial letter activity is a fun, interactive and engaging way for your students to work on their initial sound and letter skills while celebrating spring. Students need to look at the image on the task card and then match the letter to it. We like to use play dough or magnetic letters for this activity to make it more hands on and fun.
There are 27 different task cards included in this pack, and these will be a great addition to your literacy centres. All of the images are linked to the theme of spring.

Your students will love working on their literacy skills with these fun and engaging spring task cards. I recommend laminating all of the task cards included. This will make them stronger, longer lasting and reusable in the future.
Instructions
- Print out the task cards.
- Cut and laminate the task cards.
- Provide your students with a way to match letters to the images. This could be – dry wipe pen, play dough, magnetic letters, scrabble tiles etc.
