Description
There are 19 different St Patrick’s Day adapted books included in this bundle that are great for students to work on their sentence building skills. The books come in different levels to differentiate between students abilities and to help them progress through levels as they progress with their sentence building skills.
Adapted books are a great way to encourage students to pay close attention to detail and start to link vocabulary to the images that they see. Each book comes with symbols as well as a ‘base page’ this is where the symbols can be stored when not in use and for students to select the symbols from to use within the adapted books.
All books come in both col and b/w option for your printing preference except for 3 which come in col only option.
This is great for a Spec Ed or Autism Classroom / working with Spec Ed or students with Autism. It’s a great way to encourage students to pay close attention to deal, become more familiar with sentence structure and symbols.
Spelling is available to suit both colour/color.
The books included;

Level 1 – “happy”, “sad” etc.
♦ How does the leprechaun feel?
Level 2 – “happy leprechaun”, “sad leprechaun” etc.
♦ How does the leprechaun feel?
Level 3 – “the leprechaun is happy”, “the leprechaun is sad”, “the leprechaun is angry”
♦ How many?
Level 1 – counting coins in the pot, “4/four” “5/five”
♦ How many?
Level 2 – counting candy in the jar “2/two pieces of candy”, “4/four pieces of candy.”
♦ How many?
Level 3 – “5/five shamrocks in the field”.
♦ Prepositions
Level 1 – ‘the leprechaun is behind the ____’ – fill in the gap. One box/symbol, rest of sentence is already written.

Level 2 -the ___ is _____ the ______’ fill in the gap. I.e the leprechaun is in front of the shamrock. Fill in two boxes/symbols. Rest is ready written.

Level 3 – “the leprechaun is next to the tree” fill in all words.

Level 1A – the sentence is all wrote ready for the reader except for the final word (verb) i.e – “the leprechaun is ______” student fills in blank – “singing” “dancing” etc.

Level 2 – “the ______ is _______” – student fills in the blanks i.e “the leprechaun is dancing”.
♦ What doing? (Verbs)
Level 3 – students fill in entire sentence i.e “the leprechaun is reading”

Each book comes with instructions included on the first page on how you can put this book together to get the best possible use out of it.
These books are great to help students build up and work on their sentences. It encourages students to select the correct words(symbols) to match the picture they are looking at as well as being able to place them in the correct order to build an appropriate sentence.
