Your students will love this Enormous Turnip literacy activity. Write the room activities are a great way to get your students moving. They also encourage your students to work on their reading, writing and spelling skills.
All the vocabulary included on the write the room task cards are linked to the story of the Enormous Turnip.
Students need to hunt around the room – or through a sensory bin – for the task cards. Then, they match this to their recording sheet. They write down the word they have found. This is a great way to encourage students to work on their vocabulary skills.
The recording sheets come in numbers 1-10. They come in 2 ability levels;
1 – plain boxes to write the answers in or
2 – boxes with handwriting lines for students to write in.
