Valentine’s Day Sight Words Read and Highlight

Do your students need to work on their sight word recognition and reading skills? Are you looking for engaging Valentine’s Day literacy activities that require no prep? If so, these sight word highlighting passages are perfect to use with your students.

 

The worksheets come with instructions on the first page and all pages come as black and white for ink friendly printing.

 

An alternative pack is also included with an easier font for younger readers. You can see both fonts in the preview above.

 

How to Use

Students read the short passage on each page, then using the ‘find me’ box at the bottom of the page to see what sight words they are looking for. They then go back through the passage and highlight the correct sight words.

 

This is a no prep activity – just print and hand out!

 

You can either use these as paper worksheets to hand out to students or you can laminate them so that they can be re-used over and over.
