This snail sun catcher craft is perfect as part of our spring / nature theme with your students. My students love making sun catcher crafts.. And I love how they look up on display in our classroom! These snail ones turned out great and I love how much of a ‘spring’ look they bring to our windows.

Snail Sun Catcher Craft
Materials Needed
- Snail template – printed.
- Black card.
- Pencil.
- Laminating sheet.
- Crepe paper – I used yellow and pink.
- Scissors.
- Glue.
- Laminator.
Instructions
- Print out the template of a snail.
- Cut out the outside of the snail. Then, leaving a thin border, cut out the middle of the snail.
- Trace around the outside and inside of the snail on black card.
- Cut out the outside and inside of the snail traced on the black card.
- Stick the snail black card cut out onto a laminating sheet.
- Cut up different pieces of crepe paper.
- Stick the cut up crepe paper pieces into the middle of the snail on the laminating sheet.
- Laminate.
- Cut out the snail, and put up on display in your classroom windows.
