Materials Needed
- Whisk or Mixer
- Baking Tray
- Baking Paper
- Measuring Cups / Spoons
- Spatula
- Ice-Cream Scoop
- 2 Mixing Bowls
Ingredients Needed
- 1 Cup of Unsalted Butter – Cubed
- 1 Teaspoon of Cream of Tartar
- 2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/2 Cups of White Sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
- 2 3/4 Cups of Plain Flour
- 2 Large Eggs
For the cinnamon sugar;
- 1/4 Cup of Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons of Cinnamon
Instructions
- Pull the butter out of the fridge in advance to soften.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F / 175°C or 320°F / 160°C fan.
- Place the butter and sugar into a large mixing bowl. Mix together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla into the bowl and mix together.
- Pour in the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
- In a separate bowl, we are going to make the cinnamon sugar mix. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
- Wrap the dough and place into the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Use the ice-cream scoop to scoop out some mixture and then roll into a small bowl.
- Place the ball into the cinnamon sugar bowl and coat it, covering well.
- Place onto the baking paper on top of a baking tray.
- Cook for approximately 10 minutes then leave to cool.
