We love when celebrities take the time out helping to spread a little autism awareness. I know, I’ve heard from a few in the autism community that they don’t like celebrities getting all the publicity through the news for it – but I think it’s important in the sense that it helps to spread that extra little bit of autism awareness – and that’s never a bad thing!
This week, I saw that Taylor Swift met a young fan, Jacob Hill, at her Houston Concert. Jacob has autism and Taylor donated $10,000 to help him get his own service dog.
Now, we all know that a lot of individuals with autism have had great success with service dogs – but they don’t come cheap – like most things in our world. And, although many of you will say that this is just spare change to Swift, we think she deserves a round of applause – because her $10,000 which help to change Jacob’s life, and that’s what we love to see and hear about.
