This Valentine’s card craft for kids is perfect to use in the classroom with your students.. Or to make at home with your children! In this blog post I’ll share information on how you can make this craft, and all the materials you’ll need.
Materials Needed
- 2 pieces of white card
- Pink paint
- Red paint
- Purple paint
- Yellow paint
- Water
- Paintbrush
- Golf ball
- Tray
- Scissors
- Sequins
- Glue
Instructions
- Fold a piece of card in half.
- Mix pink paint and water together then paint over the folded card. Leave to dry.
- Place the other piece of card into a tray. Squirt red, purple, pink and yellow paint into different parts of the tray. Insert a golf ball into the tray. Lift the tray up and down and move the golf ball around to create an effect over the card. Leave to dry.
- Once dry, cut a heart shape out of the card. Glue some heart sequins onto the cut out heart.
- Stick the heart onto the front of the pink painted folded card.
- Print out (or write) ‘My heart shines for you’ on the front.
