Christmas is my favorite time of year for crafting.. And today I’m sharing our handprint snowman ornament craft. This craft makes the perfect keepsake for families to pull out year after year and place on their own Christmas tree. They are the perfect craft to let students get creative and decorate their snowmen – or snow-women! – however they want.
Below you’ll find all the information and materials you need to make your own handprint snowman ornament crafts with your students.

Instructions
Follow the instructions below to create your own handprint snowman ornament craft.
- Paint student’s hand white.
- Place the bauble towards the top of their hands so that their fingers reach halfway up.
- Once lined up, push the student’s hand onto it so that the paint sticks.
- Carefully pull the hand off at once so that it doesn’t smudge the paint.
- Hang up somewhere to dry.
- Once dry, use marker pens to draw eyes, mouths, buttons, hats, noses.. Etc to decorate the snowmen.
- I also like to add some dots of white paint around the bauble to look like snow.
