These Rice Krispie Christmas trees have probably been the best Christmas treat we ever made! My students loved making them.. And we were able to let them get creative and design their very own trees too.
In this blog post today I’m going to be sharing all of the ingredients and instructions you need to make these Rice Krispie Christmas trees with your students too.

What You Need
- Rice Krispies
- Green Food Coloring
- White Chocolate
- Paper / Card
- Tape
- Candy Drops to Decorate
- Mixing Bowl
- Icing Sugar
- Water
- Microwave Safe Bowl
- Microwave
- Wooden Spoon
Instructions
- Roll your paper or card into a cone shape. Tape it together to secure it.
- Break up your white chocolate and place into a microwaveable bowl and into the microwave.
- Pour Rice Krispies into a mixing bowl.
- Once the chocolate is melted, pour it over the Rice Krispies in the mixing bowl.
- Add some drops of green food coloring on top of the chocolate and Rice Krispies.
- Mix everything together until all of the chocolate, green food coloring and krispies are combined.
- Pour the mixture into the cone, filling it.
- Place in the fridge to set.
- Once hardened, remove the paper cone from around the krispie tree.
- Mix up some icing with green food coloring in a separate bowl.
- Pour the icing over the tree.
- Place candy drops around the tree, onto the icing, to decorate the tree.
