What You Need
- A pumpkin. We used 2 – a small and a big one to compare.
- Bicarb. (USA Shopping Link Here. UK Shopping Link Here.)
- Distilled vinegar. (USA Shopping Link Here. UK Shopping Link Here.)
- A knife.
- A spoon.
- A sensory tay. (USA Shopping Link Here. UK Shopping Link Here.)
Instructions
- Cut off the top of your pumpkin.
- Scoop out the insides – I keep some on the bottom to use as a base so I don’t have to use as much bicarb.
- Optional – carve a face out of the front of the pumpkin.
- Pour bicarb into the pumpkin.
- Optional – add food coloring into the pumpkin.
- Pour the vinegar into the pumpkin.
- Optional – pop the top back on to watch the eruption pour out of the front of the pumpkin / the face you carved.
