In this blog post today I’m sharing the most adorable caterpillar craft that your kids will love! This time of year is all about bugs and insects in our classroom.. And as part of our ‘Hungry Caterpillar’ book unit this week.. We made these caterpillar crafts!
I’m sharing all the materials and instructions you need to create this caterpillar craft with your students (or at home with your children). I’ll also be linking to some other activities that you may enjoy doing as part of your bugs and insects theme.

Materials Needed
- Green Card
- Green Pom-Poms
- Red Pom-Poms
- Googly Eyes
- Glue
- Glitter
- Hole Puncher
- Felt Pens
Instructions
- First, draw the shape of a leaf on the green card and cut it out.
- Use your felt pen to draw some lines on your leaf.
- Using glue, stick down your pom-poms in the shape of a caterpillar.
- Glue some googly eyes onto your caterpillars head.
- Next, add some glitter to your leaf.
- Now, use a hole puncher to punch some holes onto the side of your leaf.
