In this blog post today I’m sharing some of my favorite penguin crafts for kids. Penguins are one of my favorite winter themes to use in the classroom. And crafts are always a popular activity with my students – they’re also so beneficial for them too! In this blog post you’ll find links to each of the crafts individually where you can download templates and get instructions for each one too.
Why Do Crafts?
There are so many benefits from using crafts in classrooms. Crafts give students a chance to work on their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. These are skills which many of our students can struggle with. So crafts are a great way to work on this.
Crafts also help our students to develop their creativity and imagination. These activities give them a chance to develop their self-expression too. So for me, it’s always really important to try and factor in regular craft activities for my students.
