Easter Activities, Following Instructions Easter Basket

Working on instruction skills can be tough. But with this hands-on Easter activity, your students are going to love working on their instruction following skills as well as a range of other skills.

 

Students need to follow the instructions on the task cards to build their Easter baskets. Students will work on;

  • Understanding and Following instructions
  • Color Recognition / Colour Recognition
  • 2D Shape Recognition
  • Fine Motor Skills
  • Number Recognition

 

The task cards come in a variety of levels to challenge your students. They also come with symbol support, some examples are;

  • Put 1 blue egg into the basket
  • Put 1 square egg into the basket
  • Put 1 square egg into the basket, put 2 pink eggs into the basket.
  • Put 1 triangle egg into the basket, put 1 square egg into the basket, put 2 blue eggs into the basket.

 

Instructions

  • Print out the pages included
  • Cut out and laminate each of the individual task cards and basket pieces
  • Students follow the instructions on the task cards to complete their basket.

 

This activity fits perfectly into photo storage boxes – making it easy for you to stay organised and keep all the pieces together.
