Errorless File Folder Activities Lunar New Year

Your students will love working on these Chinese New Year errorless learning file folder activities. All of the activities are based on Chinese New Year. These file folder activities are the perfect addition to your Chinese New Year celebrations and errorless learning activities.

Errorless learning activities are a fantastic way to get your students into the routine of working. And it eliminates any fear of failure. Errorless learning activities are just that – they are fantastic for boosting confidence and success in your students.

There are 3 different file folders activities included in this pack. Each one contains an errorless Autumn/Fall theme activity.

The activities included are;

• Matching 2D shapes.
• Matching color (colour) items.
• Counting objects.

Matching 2D shapes.

The shapes included are; circle. diamond, heart, hexagon, octagon, oval, pentagon, rectangle, square, star and triangle. There are 3 Chinese New Year lantern images for each shape. Students move the image shapes from the left side of the file folder onto the shape page on the right side of the file folder. You only use the correct image shapes for that shape page – errorless learning. If you want to progress to a harder level for your students, include one wrong shape to start to see if they are able to differentiate from it. Each shape has its own file folder.

Color (Colour) Matching

Students have to move the color (colour) words from the left side of the file folder onto the same color (colour) images on the right side of the folder. Comes in; black, blue, brown, green, gray (grey), orange, pink, purple, red, white and yellow. Each color (colour) has its own file folder.

Counting
Students count how many objects are in the box and then match the number to it. The number comes in 4 options; number name, tally mark, finger counting and number. There are 4 boxes in each file folder, each containing the same amount of objects. Students move the number boxes to the counting objects boxes.

In order to make these activities errorless – you only provide your students with the correct answers with each of the activities. If you want to progress to a harder level for your students, include one wrong option to see if your students are able to differentiate from it.
